Echinacea provides optimal support for the immune system, the ideal herb for older horses or those who have been a little run-down. Echinacea is also thought to be beneficial for the digestive and respiratory systems.
Echinacea was traditionally used by native Americans for a variety of health reasons such as digestive distress and respiratory health. Echinacea is well-known for its immunosupportive properties and can benefit many horses, especially those in more challenging situations, or horses going through management changes.

| Instructions for use | Weight of Horse/Pony - Amount per Day Up to 400kg (Under 14hh) - ½ scoop Over 400kg (Over 14hh) - ¾ scoop 1 level (50ml) scoop of Echinacea weighs approximately 15g Echinacea has traditionally been used internally to optimise the immune system and externally to support the treatment of skin conditions. It has been shown to be useful for a depressed immune system, to aid wound healing when applied topically under veterinary supervision, to have immune modulating activity and helpful with veterinary treatment for chronic bacterial and viral infections. If the immune system is chronically weakened, do not feed Echinacea long term. Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight.
