Equus Health Agnus Castus 1kg (Equine)

Agnus Castus is used widely to support those horses suffering with Cushings Disease. It is also useful to balance hormone levels in mares in season.
What is Agnus Castus? Agnus Castus, also known as Chaste Berry, is a herb that has been used for centuries to help maintain a balanced hormonal system in mares, as well as geldings and stallions. Research has shown that Agnus Castus aids the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus, to support the body’s natural ratio of the hormones oestrogen and progesterone. It is these hormones that affect mare’s behaviour during their seasons. The pituitary gland plays a major role in reproduction, digestion, growth, metabolic rate and ageing. How do I feed Agnus Castus? Feed approximately 15g per day in your horse's normal feed.
