Equimax is an all-in-one, combination wormer capable of treating multiple-species infestations, including roundworms, tapeworms and bots, and is the only product registered to treat all three species of equine tapeworm. One packet contains 8 tabs which is sufficient to treat a horse up to 800kg Body weight (one tab per 100kg). The pack may be split between two ponies, but do not under dose. This product should be used in spring and autumn alongside Eraquell for year-round parasite control. Equimax is a combination horse wormer, containing ivermectin and praziquantel, for the treatment and control of important internal parasites, including roundworms, bots and all three species of tapeworm.

What does Equimax treat?Equimax tabs, at the recommended dosage level, provides effective control of the following parasites of horses and ponies:
- Large Strongyles
- Small Strongyles (adults)
- Intestinal Threadworms
- Large-mouth stomach worms
- Neck threadworm
- Stomach bots
When should Equimax be used?
Equimax should be used in spring and autumn, alongside Eraquell in early and late summer and a treatment for encysted small redworms over the winter months, to provide a complete year round parasite control programme for all types of horses and ponies, including pregnant and lactating mares, and foals over two weeks of age.

|Instructions for use||Equimax tabs are quick and simple to administer. Each tab is sufficient to treat 100kg of bodyweight, therefore a whole tube is sufficient to treat a horses up to 800kg. The tabs should be offered to the horse on a hand, either individually or all together. It is possible to add a small treat alongside the tabs to make them more appetising for the horse, they do, however, have an apple flavour, so should be fairly palletable.
The horse’s weight should be accurately determined to ensure use of the correct dose of product. Use of a scale or weigh tape is recommended to ensure accurate dosing.
Treatment is recommended at least twice a year, in spring and autumn. Use alongside Eraquell in summer to provied all year round protection from intestinal parasites.
