A natural, scientifically formulated joint supplement.
Horses’ joints have to cope with extreme forces and key nutrients Glucosamine, MSM, Boswellia, Green Lipped Mussel and Rose Hips are well known for their support for the health of cartilage and overall joint structure. Scientific Research recommends that feeding a combination of the key nutrients allows them to work together more effectively than any one nutrient alone. Getting the combination right is crucial.
What's in the bag?
- MSM (methyl sulphonyl methane) - An excellent source of sulphur and great for joint support
- Glucosamine HCl - A natural ingredient which is a major component of joint cartilage and joint fluid. We use glucosamine produced from plants as its known to be much more natural for herbivores and much less likely to cause allergic reactions that shellfish derived glucosamine
- Boswellia serrata (Frankincense) - This is a natural plant extract used for centuries in Indian Ayurvedic medicine to support the joints.
- Green Lipped Mussel - A natural source of marine omega 3. Also provides a source of Chondroitin.
- Rosehip - An excellent natural source of Vitamins A, C and Manganese.
What’s an extract and why do we use them?
An extract is a concentrated version of an active ingredient. So instead of having to put in 100g of a herb such as Boswellia, a 100:1 extract would only need 1g to get the same benefit. Clever stuff!

| Instructions for use | Nourish do not include plastic scoops with their supplements - please use a tablespoon. Ponies - 250g - 2 heaped tbsp. Horse - 500kg - 3.5 heaped tbsp. Large Horse - 750kg - 4 heaped tbsp. Introduce to the diet slowly over 3-5 days. Mix thoroughly with feed and split between meals where possible. Do not exceed the recommended intake. Keep away from direct sunlight and store in a cool, dry place. |
