Verm-X Equine formulation was the first product in the Verm-X range. Company Director, Philip Ghazala, was concerned about the amount of chemicals he was using on his own animals and was shocked to find no alternatives available on the market. For this reason, from day one, Verm-X has not been about replacing chemicals but about giving people an option. Everyday people call us in a similar position as the one Philip was in, concerned about their use of chemicals, concerned about resistances and wanting to know what their options are. The majority of our customers use Verm-X solely and we are very confident that with Verm-X you can get the results you want. We also have customers who use Verm-X and alternate its use with pharmaceutical products. Carrying out a routine like this is completely safe as there are no ingredients in Verm-X that would stop the work of or inhibit the work of any ingredient used in pharmaceutical products, or vica-versa.

As well as herbs to control intestinal challenges there are herbs in Verm-X for blood cleansing and others for gut maintenance. The herbs included in Verm-X have been carefully blended together to work synergistically with each other. We are also always receiving reports from horse owners that their horses look extremely well following a course of Verm-X. The powder form is administered for 5 consecutive days every 3 months (full feeding instructions are shown on the packaging.) The powder is quite fine and so does need mixing in with a feed. This form of our product is particularly popular with owners whose horses are prone to laminitis or cushings as it is simply a blend of our equine herbs with nothing else added. Why do I have to wait 21 days before carrying out a faecal egg count? To get the most accurate result it is important to wait 21 days form the last day Verm-X is fed. This is because Verm-X works over a more natural time scale which is what makes Verm-X so gentle on your horses system. Can I compete my horse whilst feeding them Verm-X? Yes. As Verm-X is 100% herbal and non-toxic, it does not contravene current FEI or Jockey Club rulings. However, as rulings continually change it is up to our individual clients to check with their respective association. If my dog eats droppings from my horse that has been fed Verm-X does it have the same serious or even fatal effects that chemical products can have on dogs in this situation? No. Verm-X is 100% herbal and does not pose a danger to your dog or any other animal. My horse is in foal, can I still use Verm-X on her? Also, is it safe to use whilst she is feeding her foal?
