We have two suitably qualified people, known as SQP's as part of our team at Supplement Solutions. They can prescribe and supply products for equine and companion animals.

Place your order as normal and complete the safety questions associated with that product. One of our SQP's will then check the order with the information you have provided.

If we need more information one our friendly SQP's will contact you via telephone or email.

Our SQP's regularly check orders, ordering prescription medication does not generally mean your order will take longer.

If our SQP has any further questions, they will contact you as soon as possible.

We are happy to provide veterinary medicines to EU member states, providing you complete the form at the time of ordering which states that there is no specific legislation against such imports in your part of the EU. We will then check this.

If the product is not approved, the order cannot be fulfilled.

As these products are animal medicines, there may be some regulations during transportation that mean that the products get stopped in transit.

If this happens, full responsibility will be with you, the customer.

Please note that all our products are as pictured, with packets and usage instructions printed in English. Please ensure you understand all wording before administering the product to your animal.

BETA

BETA is the British Equestrian Trade Association. Retailers who are members can display the BETA Retail logo, which helps consumers shop with confidence.

BETA is the trade association that helps the equestrian industry. It lobby’s on behalf of the members at regional, national and European level, including development of riding, hunting with hounds, food safety legislation, and raising the standards of retail.

BETA has rider and product safety at the heart of what it does, to help protect riders. The body protector standard has been in place for over 25 years and is regularly reviewed. BETA offers training to retailers so they can fit body protectors and safety hats correctly.

Yes Supplement Solutions is a trade member. You can find all BETA members on the website in the members directory.

The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) has two assurance schemes designed to reduce the risk of naturally occurring prohibited substances (NOPS) in equine feeds.

The Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS), Naturally Occurring Prohibited Substances (NOPS) Code is designed for manufacturers of compound feeds, and the Feed materials Assurance Scheme (FEMAS) NOPS Code is a sister scheme designed for raw material and straights providers. Both UFAS and FEMAS together with the NOPS components are administered by the AIC (Agricultural Industries Confederation). Companies are audited through the AIC schemes as well as being bound by additional requirements run by BETA as part of the BETA UFAS NOPS code.

Feeds and supplements conforming to the codes will carry logos to reassure owners and trainers of the stringent quality management procedures that have been undertaken by manufacturers.

Annually BETA recognises the hard work and excellence of members by awarding a handful of awards to various categories, including best retailer, best export company, best representative.

Initially members are nominated for the awards by their customers, and then from there a tricky questionnaire and mystery shops forms part of the judging.

Supplement Solutions have been awarded Retailer of the Year five times (2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2020) and runners up on several other occasions, and we are proud to have received this as a recognition of our customer service.
